In the first half of 2022, the overall operating performance of PCB industry companies is good, and the performance growth rate is generally 20% -30%.
In 2021, due to the price increase of upstream raw materials, the PCB industry companies have generally experienced a performance growth slowdown or performance decline. However, since the beginning of the year, with the price of copper, resin and other upstream materials such as glass fiber continuing to fall, the profit margin of the PCB industry has improved, and the profitability of the industry has steadily recovered.
Affected by the rise of raw material prices, the overall operating performance of domestic PCB companies showed a downward trend in 2021, and the operating performance of some companies showed negative growth.
In the 2022 semi-annual report, PCB companies have said that the company's operating performance has been improved due to the decline in raw materials, cost and cost control and other factors.
According to the cost composition, in the cost structure of PCB, direct materials account for more than 60% of the cost of PCB products, including copper-clad plates, semi-curing sheets, copper balls, electronic parts and other materials. Among the above materials, the copper clad plate is closely related to the quality and performance of PCB, and its production technology and supply level directly affect the quality of PCB, accounting for 30% -70% of the PCB raw material cost, which is the most important raw material of PCB.
The price fluctuation of copper clad plate is mainly affected by the price changes of raw materials such as copper foil, resin and glass fiber cloth. The above three materials account for about 40%, 25% and 20% of the cost of copper clad plate, respectively, with a total impact of more than 80%. Among them, the component of the copper foil price mainly includes the copper base price and the processing cost two parts.
