How to maintain circuit board to prolong service life

Maintenance knowledge of PCB 

1 Annual maintenance knowledge: 

1.Clean the dust on PCB 

2. Spot check the capacity of electrolytic capacitors in the circuit board. If it is found that the capacity of electrolytic capacitor is lower than 20% of the nominal capacity, it should be replaced. Generally, the life of electrolytic capacitor should be replaced for about ten years to ensure the working performance of PCB circuit board. 

3.For high power devices coated with heat dissipating grease, should check the heat dissipating grease has no dry solid, for dry solid should be dry and solid heat dissipating grease removed, coated with new heat dissipating grease, in order to prevent the high power components in the circuit board due to bad heat dissipation and burn out. 

2 seasons maintenance: 

1.Clean the dust on the circuit board every quarter. Use the special cleaning liquid for the circuit board. After the dust is cleaned, dry the circuit board with a hair dryer. 

2.Observe the electronic components in the circuit have no traces of high temperature, electrolytic capacitor has no swelling leakage phenomenon, if so, should be replaced.
